MUSIC
" Harry Birkholz was
passionate about contemporary
music which he collected
fervently. In the '80s he started
to compose. None of these
recordings done in Germany while
he was staying in the house of
Mother Meera, to my knowledge,
have
survived.
In 1996, he bought a
Roland A-80 electronic piano. For
months he dedicated himself to
playing, composing and recording
his
compositions.
He produced 50 some tapes
that I plan to have
digitalized.
During the summer of 1998,
we produced his first CD "USHA
OVER THE EASTERN PLAINS" for
which he received at that time
praise from Robert
Fripp.

No music producer has
answered positively to producing
this CD. It remains only
available to our close friends.
You can listen to some of it on
the website.
Harry continued to play
piano every day. Unfortunately he
always used a headset, in order
not to disturb anyone when he
became totally absorbed in his
own musical
world.
In 2009, on the occasion
of an exhibition dedicated to
NYC, we produced a second CD
entitled "USHA OVER CENTRAL
PARK" for which Harry created
the cover from a photo he took
during our stay in Manhattan
during the
summer.
